ABOUT

Challenging times

We all experience difficulties in our lives from time to time and need someone to talk to.

Feeling depressed, anxious, lacking in self-confidence, dissatisfied with life or feeling confused with no sense of direction is common place for many of the clients I work with.

Often what is needed is to learn to better understand our emotions.

I BELIEVE

We all need a witness to our emotions and feelings.

Whilst anxious feelings, stress and emotions can feel overwhelming, these experiences need to be expressed and witnessed and in this way, feelings have a chance to transform, change or even dissipate.

Through our work together, I aim to help you reconnect to yourself. By examining thought patterns, we can work to transform challenging times and  stressful experiences into experiences of learning and growth.

We will work within a confidential and non-judgmental setting, to allow you to express your true self and to find out what you really want in life.

I BELIEVE

we all have an inner guidance.

Often we need to learn how to contain and interpret our emotions. Through empathy and the creation of a safe and trusting environment I will help you to tune in to yourself and how you feel. You will then find that you develop an awareness of your own inner guidance system that can become a reliable resource in all situations.

 What to Expect

STEP ONE

Book a 50 minutes assessment meeting here

STEP TWO

The preliminary assessment meeting allows you to see if you feel comfortable working together, to discuss what troubles you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality and decide if therapy may benefit you.  If we are a good fit to work together we will schedule another session. Where we will then get to know each other and form a plan for your time in therapy.

STEP THREE

We will meet weekly and I suggest an initial period of 6 sessions.  After 6 sessions we will review and discuss your needs for continuing our meetings or to work towards closure.
